Kanopy is a video streaming service for quality, thoughtful entertainment. Find movies, documentaries, foreign films, classic cinema, independent films and educational videos that inspire, enrich and entertain. Kanopy also offers access to The Great Courses, college-level audio and video courses covering a variety of topics from Art History to Zoology. All you need is a valid Norfolk Library card. PLEASE NOTE: Kanopy is only available as a streaming service (i.e. movies cannot be downloaded). As you browse for movies on the Kanopy website, clicking on a title will take you to a separate page where you can to find out more information about that movie. If you decide to use one of your credits to watch the movie, click the play button. This is NOT a trailer. You will be “checking out” the movie with one of your credits, and you will then have 72 hours to watch it.

Get started with Kanopy here. Or watch this step-by-step video which demonstrates how to use your Norfolk Library card to access Kanopy.
